Hollybank Trust
An innovative partnership has blossomed in the care sector following a pioneering training programme delivered by Business Solutions LTD.
Hollybank Trust, a charity which works with some of society’s most vulnerable members, came to the college after a dramatic shift in regulations meant that 80 percent of the organisation’s workforce needed to achieve NVQ Level three qualifications, dependent on their role.
The college jumped at the chance to help, delivering training at Hollybank and meeting regularly with Trust management to discuss staff progress and agree strategies to ensure achievement. Following this success, Hollybank has supported Business Solutions LTD in linking the programme to other organisations in the area, including Carlton Autistic Servces, Valeo and York Care.
Alison Howard, Head of Residential Services at Hollybank Trust, said: “The training is working really well. It has been designed perfectly with both the Trust and staff’s requirements in mind.”
